family+friends+fun+food+farbar.

...equals AMAZING BIRTHWEEK 2010!!! a little excited? i think yes. i also really like alliterations. here goes a photo essay to commemorate this wonderful and blessing-filled week. i'm bragging about how loved i am because i have glorious and beautiful friends and family whom i love so much

enjoy!

may seven: dinner @ little next door w/ morgan & sean
took an hour and a half to get home from the valley and i didn't have my phone to tell them i was running extremely late. damn traffic. but they waited for me because they're awesome. thanks morgan--you have my heart, girl!

may eleven (actual bday!): gLee party and homemade dinner @ hoicee's
...with lovely sd unnies that i haven't seen in a while!! thanks for hosting, hoicee! thanks for the food, flowers, and tambourine! thanks for the cheesecake cups, ang! i love you ladies so so so much.

may twelve (sister's bday): dinner @ hatfields with sister!!!
four-course pre-fixe with on the house amuse bouches and chocolate hazelnut bars. AND our server had tattoos on her fingers--something you wouldn't expect at a fine dining restaurant. an annual tradition has been born. i love you, unni!

may fourteen: ditch day from work
sister also ditched work so we could end the week with a bang. started off the day with breakfast from village bakery & cafe and spent the afternoon in venice <3.

may fourteen: birthday shindig @ far bar!!!
thank you so so so much to all those that came out and to those who wanted to come out and were there with me in spirit! was kind of disappointed that dj replay wasn't there because the dj sucked! wahhh. still got some dancing in, some drinking, and definitely came out with great memories. i am so thankful for you, my los angeles friends. a special shoutout goes to those who waited with me at the end of the night! :) i hope you all had a great time!

may fifteen-sixteen: annual choi family extravanganza part i - oxnard strawberry festival
yeah, it was overrated. the best thing of the festival was the strawberry pizza pictured above.

may fifteen-sixteen: annual choi family extravanganza part ii - summerland beach cafe
hi parentals. :) aren't they cute? and doesn't my dad look like a fisher?

may fifteen-sixteen: annual choi family extravanganza part iii - ojai, ca
ojai, california is my new favorite quaint town. there are lovely art galleries scattered throughout this small town of approx. 8000 residents!

may fifteen-sixteen: annual choi family extravanganza part iv - legit mexican food.
we were so excited about lilly's tacos in santa barbara and la fuente/gourmet tamales in ojai that i didn't take any photos. BOMB DOT COM. this is all i got...salsa roja y verde from la fuente.

may fifteen-sixteen: annual choi family extravanganza part v - bart's books in ojai, ca
I LOVE THIS USED BOOKSTORE. it's a house and courtyard dedicated to books. look at that kitchen filled with--what else?--cookbooks. GENIUS.

okay that took a long time and i am now really tired. i hope that was an adequate update and it shows you why i'm so tired lately! it's a really great fatigue, but i'm tempted to go to sleep now at 9:45pm. thank you AGAIN to everyone that made birthweek 2010 so special.

ps. my new favorite song: katy perry - california gurls. so catchy and happy for katy!
pps. all these photos are/will go on facebook. yes, i've given in to my "boycott" of facebook already. -_-
