my rental car smells funky.

i think i was really spoiled with enterprise last time because they hooked it up with a free upgrade to a freaking silver infiniti. i was a baller for 3 days and 3 days only! this time around, probably because it's out of my own pocket, they gave me a maroon hyundai accent. and it smells funky. :\

so the repairs on the car will cost thousands of dollars. AAA, even though we've been customers for 21 years, decides not to waive the $1000 deductible.

and i can't sue the man who hit me.

he:
1. lost his job.
2. has no driver's license.
3. has no insurance.
4. is a fob.
5. has wife and kids.

to extend grace or to be fully compensated? it's a touchy/tricky subject, and i think my parents know how it is to be an immigrant here and how hard it is to get established. but even so...

anyway, you'll see me cruising around in a tiny little car for the next few weeks. yay.
