it's august! what..?

random thought bubbles about this month:

- i'm going to a super nerdfest this fri & sat -- i must must must get back into networking mode.
- i would really like to go kayaking with moon jellies before summer ends. alas i either have no time, no friends, or no energy.
- i need to work on my cooking skillz.
- i'm going to my one & only summer wedding this month. really excited to wear a very loud/bright dress.
- i'm learning to be sacrificial with my time and my resources. it's tough.
- it's too dang hot.
- i'm also super excited for End o' Summer Dance Party 2011.
- for once in my life, i'm actually looking forward to summer's end. maybe it's because i'm looking forward to some peace & calm in my life...but actually this is no bueno. i should be living in the present.
