bullet points entry because i can't get myself to write out an entire post...still.
slowly but surely, baby steps.

- just watched Everybody's Fine with mama choi and it was a freaking sad and quiet movie. i didn't expect it to be and now it's gotten me thinking about the role of family, the role of self, independence/dependence moreso now.

- past few weeks have been about getting my health checked. had baseline bloodwork done = low cholesterol, normal blood cell count. i'm normal all around, and there is much to be grateful for about that. i shouldn't take my health for granted, be it mental or physical. the only bothersome thing is now i have a fatty scar on my back for a mole that i got checked out at the dermatologist a couple of weeks back.

- i've had a lot of visits in the past week. visited stacie in sd, had briones visit me in LA, and then had selena unexpectedly stay with me over the wknd, and THEN i saw aj too. grateful for free time to see and catch up with old faces..i know i won't get these opportunities often in the future.

- at least for the time being, i must dispel the notion that free time is unproductive.
